The HKS EIDS has been developed to buffer dramatic airflow meter signal fluctuations. By buffering these fluctuations the EIDS prevents engine stalling or stumbling associated with sudden imbalances in air/fuel ratio of airflow meter-equipped vehicles that utilize atmosphere venting blow-off valves. This helps avoid rapid changes in metering that can cause idle stability issues. Recommended for use on the US-Spec Evo 8 SSQV kit or any BOV run in a VTA setup that relies on the MAS for engine management metering. |
